I feel like a idiot for letting someone sponsor my site. Yeah it looks cool, has no ads, uploads quicker etc. But 1 month of not talking to me, nor responding to my emails etc. I don't know what to do! The site's server crashed 2 weeks ago, and although the entire site and boards are back the server where I go in and either edit or look at this person's progress OR my mail server hasn't changed. It's irritating, I sent this person countless emails with concerns, plus I PMed him on YIM and I got no response. I'm worried that he either has a family crisis or he jumped off the cliff! I don't know PHP and so I'm useless, and there are things I need to get put up on the site's server. I understand he has a life but my god this is crazy! The recommend form doesn't work, the Books, Schools for the blind and guide dog schools lists aren't user friendly etc. I mean if he's having financial problems he shouldn't have jumped on board with me in the get go. So no I gotta start browsing around for a new sponsor and help me get me back on my feet. It's so crazy it really is.
Learn the stuff on your own, and run your own sight, instead of hoping other people can do shit any half trained monky can do.
I agree, that might be easier. I hate depending on someone.
No kidding. PHP is dead easy, and most of the kids that advertise about doing it think it's cool to make a script that shows the visiter their IP address... and they can't forget to mention that it was them who made it, like it was some brain-twistingly hard job when all it entails is writing less than one line, or one word even, of code.
